The activities of the Flexible Production network are addressed to small and middle sized enterprises (SMEs). The objective of the network is to produce knowledge that make traditional food companies able to differentiate them selves through exploitation of information technologies (IT).

The network has competencies related to the following three areas:

• Mathematical modelling/simulation for production optimization:

Development of software to interpretation and integration of different data types and Development of models for decision-making and prediction

• Vision Technology for:

Optimization and Quality assurance

The network consists of partners from universities, research units and industry on both sides of Øresund.
